Over ✨40 heart families✨ one unforgettable day ❤️

Our Family Fun Day at Streamvale Farm was about more than just a day out. It was an opportunity for families to spend quality time together, connect with others who understand their journey, and create lasting memories 🚜🐑

Strong communities play an important role in helping families feel connected, supported and less alone. Through local support groups and events like these, families can build friendships, share experiences and find encouragement from those who truly understand❤️

Heart Families❤️❗️This Could Make Your Cinema Trips More Affordable🎬

We know how important making memories together can be.

If your child or family member needs extra support when visiting the cinema, a CEA Card could help make your next movie trip a little more affordable.

The card allows a parent or carer to attend participating cinemas free of charge when accompanying the cardholder.

It could be one small thing that makes family days out a little easier.

Fab Fundraiser Friday 🥰❤️👏

What an incredible community we have! Every pound raised and every act of kindness helps us be there through some of life's toughest moments. We are so thankful for each and every one of you. ❤️

Take a look at some of the fantastic supporters we've had the pleasure of celebrating this week!

❤Two of our amazing London Marathon Runners finalised their totals. We were delighted to be presented with £3,062.25 from Lucy Wilson and £9,336.25 from Ryan Baxter. A huge thank you for taking on this challenge and raising such superb totals!

❤St Mary’s College in Irvinestown took on Mile a Day in May and raised a fabulous £2,407! Our Community Support Worker Jennifer met with Kate Higgins who organised the fundraiser.

❤St MacNissi’s Primary in Larne also took on Mile a Day in May, in memory of a very special staff member – Miss Campbell. They raised a wonderful £879!

❤️🎉 WOW! £12,434.30 raised! 🎉❤️

We're sending a huge thank you to the Hays Travel Northern Ireland team for their incredible support over the past year❤️

From abseils and skydives to quizzes, raffles and community events, staff across the region went above and beyond to support Children’s Heartbeat Trust. 🎊

Your fundraising efforts will make a lasting difference to children and families affected by congenital heart disease across Northern Ireland. We are so grateful for your generosity, dedication and support 🥰❤️

A huge thank you to Linwoods Healthfoods 🥰❤️

We're incredibly grateful to the team at Linwoods for generously donating 100 samples of their Overnight Oats for families staying in our Clark Clinic Accommodation.

When a child is in hospital, families can spend days, weeks or even months away from home. Our Clark Clinic Accommodation provides a welcoming place to stay close to their child, helping to ease some of the pressures they face during a difficult time.

Gestures like this make a real difference, providing convenient, nutritious food while families focus on what matters most, being there for their child.

Thank you, Linwoods, for your kindness and support of local heart families❤️

This last week has been so difficult for our huge heart family, Katie meant so much to everyone here at Children’s Heartbeat Trust, the young people and families she worked with and the clinicians across paediatric and adult services. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to the team to offer their support, share stories about Katie or left a comment under her post. We have been totally overwhelmed by the support we have received from our huge heart family, it has brought so much comfort in such a difficult time.

We know Katie's passing has had a massive impact across our Children’s Heartbeat Trust community so we want to remind you how important it is to talk about how you are feeling. Please feel free to lift the phone and call one of the team on 028 9031 2228 or remember we have a free, independent, confidential counselling service for heart families and young people with CHD which can be easily accessed using the details in the picture, should you want to speak to a professional.

Thank you again for your support and kindness, Katie's work here at Children’s Heartbeat Trust meant the world to her and we will hold her with us as we get back to running our usual support services.
