We offer education, events and networking for professional hairdressers. Membership reads like a who's who of British hairdressing.

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is a membership organisation which seeks to celebrate and promote the best of British hairdressing, both at home and internationally. The Fellowship for British Hairdressing was founded in 1946 as The Fellowship of Hair Artists of Great Britain. Since then the Fellowship has grown in stature and now covers many areas of the professional hairdressing industry, with a focus on promoting artistic and creative quality shows, education and trends. The Fellowship is unique in representing the majority of the top stylists and salons in the UK and every major professional product manufacturer.

Introducing the leader for out brand new Project Ireland 2027/2028... 🌟

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Paul is greatly regarded for his passion and creativity towards hairdressing. Education plays a crucial role in his career which was imbued in him from a decade as a franchisee and member of the International Artistic Team at TONI&GUY. His work has been seen in international fashion publications and he has headed many shows at fashion weeks. ✨

Introducing... PROJECT IRELAND 🇮🇪

Project Ireland is a year-long education and mentoring programme created for Ireland's senior stylists, salon managers and salon owners. The Project is built around Irish mentors, Irish venues and Irish industry relationships, with the Fellowship providing the platform, experience and network behind it.

Across the year you'll take part in education days covering cutting, colouring, men's cutting, blow-drying, styling and finishing alongside the professional skills that grow a business: consultation, communication and presentation.

The programme also includes featuring and presenting at the HairCon show, the Fellowship Luncheon and a professional photoshoot, where you'll learn how to prepare for, create and collaborate o finished imagery with a team. ⭐

Applications for Project Ireland are now open! You can apply via the Fellowship website. Applications close on the 30th November 2026.
