What a fantastic turnout last night! Huge thanks to everyone who joined us to look back on another brilliant year of theatre, celebrate everything we’ve achieved together, and help shape what’s next for BOS.

Like the rest of the world, everyone at BOS is deeply saddened by the passing of the extraordinary Dolly Parton. Dolly was a force of nature—a songwriting legend, a tireless philanthropist, and an icon who brought warmth, humor, and heart to millions.

Her spirit, wit, and unforgettable music have inspired generations, and we are privileged to bring one of her greatest artistic achievements to our stage. This October, BOS will present 9 to 5 The Musical, celebrating the brilliant score, hilarious story, and timeless energy that only Dolly could create.

We promise to pour our whole hearts into every single song and dance, carrying forward her incredible legacy the best way we know how: by bringing our community together for a night of music, laughter, and joy.

Some people bring order to the workplace... ’s character "Stephanie" brings pure, unadulterated sass. 💁‍♀️

Describing her role as "lazy, always last minute, and sassy," Maddi gets to play the exact opposite of her real-world 9-to-5 as a dedicated Nursery Practitioner! When the music kicks in, though, there's no slacking off—she lives for the high-octane ensemble moments like '9 to 5' and the wild ride that is 'Cowgirl's Revenge'. 🎶

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Hannah Macey as Kathy! 🗣️☕

Every office has that one person who knows everyone's business before they do—and in Consolidated Companies, that’s Kathy! Played by Hannah Macey, Kathy brings all the gossip, busy energy, and non-stop chatter to the floor. 💬✨

Offstage, Hannah has just stepped into a new role as a Programme Lead for a training scheme (after managing project work for a sustainability charity). But on stage, her favourite moment happens right at the start. She loves how the musical adapts Dolly Parton’s classic opening title track '9 to 5' to cleverly weave in all the character introductions! 🎶🤠
