What a great example of the value Oxfordshire Freemasons bring to their community.

Sobell House is such an important organisation, providing support when it is needed most.

All the money given by Oxfordshire Freemasons to fund this minibus for the next five years has been raised by local Freemasons.

Castle Lodge raise valuable funds every year, supporting local, regional, and national charities and good causes.

Throughout the year, the members of Castle Lodge raise money for charitable giving.

Some is given to the Masonic Charitable Foundation for national charities. Some to our Provincial charity so they can support regional causes such as this hugely worthwhile commitment to cover the lease costs of a minibus for the next 5 years. And some, chosen by its members, is given to local charities and good causes.

Once again, the Brethren of Castle Lodge came together last night for our November meeting where the Master and Officers of the Lodge delivered an impeccable Initiation.

Initiation Ceremonies are always a special night as it means we are welcoming another new member to our fraternity.

Following the ceremony, members and visitors came together for an enjoyable Festive board where we sat together to eat and share great company over a drink or two.

Installation Meeting -Thursday 11th October 2018

Brethren Please Note:-
The traffic is normally horrendous in Banbury around 17.00hrs (5pm).
The ceremony for the evening is the Installation of Brother Wilson, hence the earlier start.

Those dining please ensure you have booked in with W.Bro. Mark Taylor, Secretary of Castle Lodge or Bro. Richard Spencer, Dining Steward for Castle Lodge.

Brethren of Castle Lodge, especially those Brethren being promoted or receiving first appointment, are encouraged to attend full rehearsal on Thursday 4th and Monday 8th October, 19.00hrs.

I must thank all my officers for delivering a first class ceremony for our two initiates this evening.
Have already received cracking comments from the Grand Lodge Officer and the Visiting Provincial Grand Lodge Officer. Well done and thank you all.

Next month we are doing a Second Degree Ceremony.

This coming Thursday evening I will be conducting another tandem initiation ceremony at Freemasons Hall, Marlborough Road, Banbury. OX16 5DB
Any Brethren wishing to attend are more than welcome, 17.30 hrs for 18.00hrs.

If you wish to stay for the Festive Board afterwards please PM me so that I can give you the contact details of our Secretary and our Dining Steward.
