This time two weeks ago, our intrepid team of 23 Kilimanjaro Trekkers took off for Tanzania to prepare for their challenge of a lifetime: conquering Africa’s highest peak in aid of Greenfingers Charity …

BUT…none of this would have been possible without the incredible support of all our amazing sponsors:

Boyd J Douglas-Davies The Boyd Partnership British Garden Centres Woodmansterne Westland Horticulture GiMA Baby Bio Plant Food HTA News Garden Centre Magazine Mountain Warehouse Thermacell Outdoors
Smart Garden Products and Harvey Spack Field.

…Not forgetting as well, the many corporate supporters who generously sponsored members of the team individually.

So, from all of us at Greenfingers Charity, a HUGE thank you for going to such great heights to support both the charity and our amazing trekkers. Your generosity, encouragement and belief in our mission helped make this extraordinary adventure possible…💚

THANK YOU!

⛰ 6️⃣ DAY SIX KILIMANJARO UPDATE…

The challenge is really starting to bite now.

As the team reaches altitudes of 4,500m+, some have unfortunately been battling the effects of altitude sickness...

Today marks the trek to Barafu Camp (4,600m) — a demanding journey made even tougher by the thinning air. The route begins with a steep climb through the alpine desert landscape, followed by a trek across a rocky plateau before the final ascent into camp.

Tomorrow, the summit attempt begins.

If you haven't already, please do support the team as they really dig deep, push through the toughest part of the challenge, and continue their incredible mission to raise £250,000 for the amazing new Greenfingers garden at Naomi and Jack's.

🌟 Every message, donation, and word of encouragement means the world and helps keep them going when the mountain gets so tough.
