WHAT A SCORCHER!
Thank you everyone for making this year’s event a success. We had some setbacks because of the weather – the dog show went online and we couldn’t have bouncy castles and other inflatables as they would have got too hot. But we hope you all had a fun time even in the extreme heat.
There’s so many people we want to say a huge thank you to:
• all the stallholders, attractions and caterers for your support
• the local businesses who donated raffle prizes
• all the arena performers
• Pete & Miles @ RaddadTV and Chris @ Spirit Bikes for volunteering their time to host the pump track events
• Aylesbury Town Council and Radley Windows for their financial backing
• the police and fire service for attending with their vehicles
• and Dan’s Community Group for doing an excellent job with the litter picking
We have only a small number of us on the BRCA committee but were blessed this year with several extra volunteer helpers: thank you Mark, Charles, Kate, Johnathan, Philip, Stuart, Paul, Tim, Colin and Jilly. You helped with the planning and most of all made a very long, tiring day much easier.
Bedgrove Day in the Park is a community event but any proceeds will be used for our charitable aims including protecting and improving our estate. Recently this has involved our Spinney Volunteer Group who have been doing a fabulous job looking after this precious piece of woodland that we are lucky to have on our doorstep.
