An update on last Saturdays 'Day in the Park. Although the weather was overcast the rain held off which meant the event could go ahead as planned. The good people of Bedgrove and the surrounds did us proud, turning up in force to support this very enjoyable charity family fun day. Early indications are that we raised over £2000.00 which will go towards the planned pump track in the park as well as other projects that The Bedgrove Residents & Community Association (BRCA) are involved with. A huge thank you to all the stallholders, attractions and food vans for your support, the local businesses who gave us the lovely raffle prizes and the live music/dance and arena performers ( who gave their time & talent for free ). I would like to add my personal thanks to my fellow BRCA committee members and our one ! volunteer on the day Sarah for their help in making the event run smoothly & smiling throughout our very tiring 12 hour day. The next DITP will be taking place on Saturday 11th July 2026. Please consider getting involved by joining our small informal team, your contribution will be welcomed. Thank you everyone for making yesterdays event such a huge success. I will post an update on the day later when my brain and body have fully recovered !!!.

Only one sleep to go to this years 'Day in the Park' and the weather looks to be overcast but dry. After last weekends sad cancellation of many events we will be going ahead as planned. This year will be better than ever with the addition of the train rides, police horses, owls, penalty shoot out and more stalls than ever. We have the usual giant 'iron man' inflatable slide, zorbs, bungee trampoline, swing boats, chair o planes and of course pony rides. We have live music and arena displays throughout the afternoon and the so so popular fun dog show. Plenty of food/drink vans, ice cream of course and a licenced bar. Aylesbury 'Lions' charity will be serving teas/coffee etc in the pavilion where we will also have a new free under fives soft play area courtesy of Aylesbury Town Council. Everyone is welcome to join us for this charity family fun event, please tell all your friends and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Thank you from the BRCA team.

Late addition to the guest list for this years 'Day in the Park'. Special VIP visitors will be TVP mounted section with two of their police horses, weather permitting. How great is that ?. Sure to be a huge hit with the Kiddies. Also joining us are 'Wings of Love' with one of their rescue owls. A rare opportunity to hold and be photographed with this much loved bird. Please tell all your friends and come along for a great afternoon out. (even if the sun doesn't shine)
