Our incredible long-time supporter and now Treasurer, David Lynn, is taking on another inspiring fundraising challenge! This year, alongside his childhood friend Andrew, he will trek through Austria’s breathtaking Stubai Alps ⛰️ to raise funds for Karibuni Children and help transform the lives of young Kenyans.

Over the past two years, David has gone the extra mile for our children—completing the Dolomites trek in 2024 and Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes in 2025, raising over £2,000 through last year's challenge. What an incredible achievement!
Now he's taking on yet another adventure to support access to quality education for brighter futures.

We're delighted that Youth Project (IYP) is partnering with Karibuni Children to support one of our partner projects in Marimanti, Kenya. 🇰🇪💛

This September, a team of 17 IYP volunteers will travel to Marimanti, Tharaka, to refurbish our partner project's community centre and learning spaces, which many of the students we support, including 68 orphaned children and their caregivers, use, creating safe spaces for learning, skills development, and hope.

They're aiming to raise £8,500 to make this project possible.
