What is it really like to live or work in Buckinghamshire? What do you love about your community, what challenges do you face, and what would you like to see change?
From November 2026 to February 2027, Heart of Bucks is launching On The Table, a community listening initiative bringing people together for informal conversations about life in our county of contrast.
We’re inviting anyone who lives, works or spends time in Buckinghamshire to host their own conversation, whether over a coffee with friends, dinner with family or a get-together with colleagues.
There’s no set format or prescribed topics. We simply want to hear what matters to you, from housing and transport to the cost of living, health, jobs and local facilities.
By bringing these conversations together, we hope to develop a deeper understanding of local experiences, challenges and aspirations, ensuring more voices are heard and helping inform conversations with charities, community organisations and decision-makers.
Whether you’re part of a community group, a local business, a school, a sports club or simply want to bring together friends and neighbours, we’d love for you to get involved.
