Community Allotment Day - Saturday 13th June, 10 am -12 noon.

Everyone in SWAN is invited to come and help plant 300 pumpkins, in preparation for our much loved 'Pick Your Own Pumpkins Day'!
Come along and get involved, and enjoy being part of the community. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or are just an enthusiastic beginner, everyone is welcome! It is also free to attend!

Our next winners were Mrs Jackie Willis and Mrs Jacky Godden for Outstanding Contribution to the Community and Environment. Together they have planted over 30,000 Springs Bulbs recruiting many volunteers from SWAN and also helped oversee the SWANCC planting of over 300 trees in SWAN. Thank you so much to Jackie and Jacky as well as Cllr. Steve Campkin, Ashford Green Party and Mr Steve Kellam for all their hard work as members of the SWANCC Planting and Biodiversity Working Group.

SWANCC were really saddened by the break in at Gas House Fields allotments over the night of Sunday 10th May to Monday 11th May 2026. 3 sheds have been reported as broken into and this was a cruel and unnecessary crime.

Exciting news for everyone in the parish โ€” our Community Allotment is ready to go!
This year, weโ€™ll be growing pumpkins for our much-loved Pick Your Own Pumpkins Day, along with a variety of other fresh, local vegetables.
Come along, get involved, and enjoy being part of something great for the community. Whether youโ€™re a seasoned gardener or just curious to learn, everyone is welcome!
