Do you love driving and want to make a real difference in your community? We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to do more than just get from A to B! 🚐✨

We’re looking for a caring, reliable minibus driver to help our amazing autistic and neurodivergent children get out, about and involved in their community, enjoying activities and making memories along the way! 🌈😊

What’s the role?
Working Saturdays & Sundays every other weekend
Extra hours available during school holidays
Driving a 16-seater minibus
Helping children access activities, have fun and feel part of their community

What do you need?
A valid D1 driving licence OR a MiDAS qualification, be 21 years and over

Good news! As of November 1, all outreach services that were previously part of Autism and Neurodiversity North Scotland will be fully incorporated Scottish Autism services. That means high quality, locally run services working to our high standard of practice, backed by research and led by autistic voices.

New: Thrive Talks is coming to Aberdeen 🗣️

Join Scottish Autism for the first session in their brand-new Thrive Talks series.

📍 The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen
⏰ 10am - 12pm

This interactive learning event will explore the factors that influence the mental and emotional wellbeing of autistic children and young people, and the challenges they may experience.

Hear from Jackie Cassels, who will share learning from the Fife One Stop Shop’s Family Flourish service, and Dr Aimee Fletcher, who will reflect on her lived experience of navigating the highs and lows of mental wellbeing as a young autistic person and the approaches that helped her along the way.

Last Thursday we had a Team Leadership Day.
It was an honour and a privilege that I got to share the day with our leadership team.
What stood out most wasn’t just the ideas we shared, but the way everyone showed up, present, engaged, and really listening to one another.
There was a genuine sense of connection in the room, and that’s what makes the difference.

We’re proud of the passion and commitment our team brings every day, to the people we support and to each other. That energy was felt throughout the day and reminds us why we do what we do!
