🌟Well Done Ewan, Congratulations on being awarded. 🌟

Congratulations to Aberdeen Volunteer Responder Ewan Pow who has been awarded the Royal College of Paramedics Roland Furber award, named in memory of the late Roland Furber, the first chief executive of the British Paramedic Association – College of Paramedics.

Ewan, who received the award earlier this week, said: “I’ve been immensely fortunate to have excellent role models and colleagues in the Paramedics and Technicians who work in Aberdeen City and the wider Scottish Ambulance Service, who are an absolute credit to your profession.

“I’ve learnt a great deal from the paramedic profession and had experiences which I have been able to translate into hospital care, which I hope will benefit patients in the years to come.”

Aberdeen City First Responders are deeply saddened by the passing of Keith. We send our deepest condolences to Davie Gauld and his family.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Gauld, a past member of Inverurie Community First Responders.

Keith was a valued and dedicated member of our team, serving with commitment and compassion until work commitments meant he could no longer volunteer.

Alongside his father, Davie Gauld, our founding Coordinator, Keith devoted hundreds of hours to supporting the people of Garioch and the surrounding communities. Their dedication to helping others has left a lasting legacy, and Keith's contribution to our team will always be remembered with gratitude.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Davie, the family, and all who knew and loved Keith during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Keith. You will not be forgotten.

Evening everyone,

Some of our charity volunteers have had a very busy weekend attending the Cove Gala and the “wee” 😉 18 mile Kiltwalk

We had a great day at the Gala on Saturday demonstrating CPR and explaining what all our charity does. Was very rewarding seeing everyone so keen to learn CPR.

The Kiltwalk was a great idea when we booked our spaces… maybe give us a few months before you ask if we will do it next year 😅 a HUGE thank you to everyone who generously donated, our total as it stands just now is a whopping £720.

Extremely proud to be part of a fantastic charity volunteering alongside a great bunch of people.
