Girl Guides creates memories that last a lifetime, from outdoor adventures and camps to new friendships and opportunities to make a difference in our communities. We want to hear about the Guiding experience that has meant the most to you.

Was it an unforgettable camp? A special event? Earning an award? Learning a new skill? Meeting lifelong friends? Whatever your story, we want to know why it was meaningful and how it impacted you.

To enter, tell us about your favourite Guiding experience and what made it so special.

When writing your submission, consider:

What does it tell others about the value of Guiding?

Prize:
The first 12 stories selected that best demonstrate the spirit and impact of Guiding will receive four complimentary passes to the Assiniboine Park Zoo.

Experienced Guiders are invited to our MB CROCUS training event, a unique opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect with the impact Guiding has had on their lives. Through meaningful discussions, shared experiences, activities and personal reflection, participants will explore how Guiding has influenced their values, relationships, leadership and sense of purpose.
This provincial training event offers dedicated Guiders a chance to celebrate their growth, renew their inspiration and recognize the lasting role Guiding plays both within the movement and in their everyday lives.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $10.00 per person
Location: Messiah Lutheran Church 400 Rouge Rd.

What to Bring: A bagged lunch and clothing appropriate for the weather, as the day will include outdoor activities
Provided: Supper, Snacks

On October 3, Girl Guides will be selling cookies at participating Michaels stores across Canada! Michaels will also have a free craft station that anyone can enjoy.

DAWN 2027!

MB Council is sending one provincially sponsored unit to Dawn 2027

Girl Guides of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Council is hosting DAWN 2027 to bring Girl Guides from across the country together in a spirit of friendship, adventure and empowerment, fostering leadership, confidence and a lifelong commitment to the community and the natural world.
DAWN 2027 will be held from August 8th to August 14th in beautiful central Newfoundland, at Camp Emanuel in Lewisporte, Newfoundland. Those who are selected to attend will have the opportunity to explore the surrounding communities, immerse themselves in Newfoundland and Labrador culture, and make friends that will last a lifetime

MB Council will be sponsoring one unit of two Guiders and eight girls/youth (Pathfinders/TREX/Rangers born between 2009 and 2014).

Registration Fee $850.00
MB Council will be responsible for transportation cost.

Interested Guiders apply by Monday September 21, 2026 9:00 am
Youth applications accepted until Monday October 5, 2026 9:00 am

The successful participants will be selected and contacted mid-October 2026.

What an amazing weekend!! 🙌

Mission Earthkeeper Camp was full of engaging activities, hat craft trading, and new traditions (see the last slide!)

HUGE HUGE thank you to Dulcemiel and Juliana, our Co-Camping Advisers for their months of effort to pull this all together, and to all the adult volunteers who helped along the way. They had countless meetings, did various prepping tasks, and spent lots of time at camp landing a hand where needed. 👏
