Winnipeg Cookie Pick up is Saturday, September 19th from 8am to 12pm at the AMJ Warehouse (36 Ryan Wirth Way).
Units should make arrangements to have an individual pick up the cookies for their unit.
If your unit/district order is with the AMJ Terminal you need to book a time to pick up:
https://mbcookieday.as.me/

The day of pick up:
-Park in the parking lot and enter the side door that says "dispatch" above it
-Check in at the desk during at your timeslot and verify the number of cases being taken
-Drive through the gate and back in to one of the open loading doors
-Volunteers will count your cookie cases and help load them with you if available

If you are able to volunteer and help load a few vehicles after yours, that would be appreciated! This helps the day run smoothly and efficiently for all.

If you have questions or need to make other arrangements, please email [email protected]

What an amazing weekend!! 🙌

Mission Earthkeeper Camp was full of engaging activities, hat craft trading, and new traditions (see the last slide!)

HUGE HUGE thank you to Dulcemiel and Juliana, our Co-Camping Advisers for their months of effort to pull this all together, and to all the adult volunteers who helped along the way. They had countless meetings, did various prepping tasks, and spent lots of time at camp landing a hand where needed. 👏

Last call for registration!

Evergreen District is offering the OAL Tent Camping Stream training May 22-24. This is for Guiders who have completed their OAL Foundation Streams (Getting Outside & Residential Camping) and want to develop their tenting skills in order to take youth tent camping.

Location: TBD - Whiteshell or Birds Hill Park
Cost: TBD - Cost for food & supplies to be shared among trainees
Date: May 22-24
*If we have a large number of Guiders interested we may split into 2 groups, Friday night vs Saturday night. Only one overnight and day session is required for this training.

The adult-only overnight will include the following modules: Planning & Packing, Tents & Tarps, Kitchens & Cooking and Activities & Program. Even if you never intend to "tent" camp with youth we still encourage this training. The opportunity to learn about fire safety, cooking on a camp stove, ways to keep gear dry, etc ensures your units success at camping.

For more information or to sign up for this opportunity please contact [email protected] by May 6th, 2026.

This is Rylie, a Pathfinder leader who is in her second year of university.

At their meeting, they painted guiding “core memories”, and Rylie painted the first time she saw DNA extracted from a strawberry at a district science round robin.

She’s now studying genetics and wants to be a medical laboratory scientist. 👩‍🔬

DAWN 2027 is looking for talented and enthusiastic Guiders, Bridging Members and LINK to fill Core Crew positions.

DAWN 2027 will run from August 7th to 15th, 2027 at Camp Emmanuel in beautiful Central Newfoundland and Labrador. Youth will be onsite from August 8th to 14th 2027. Our goal for DAWN is to bring Girl Guides from across the provinces together in a spirit of friendship, adventure, and empowerment – fostering leadership, confidence and a lifelong commitment to the community and the natural world.

The Core Crew are individual members assigned to one of the ten departments to conduct the work required by that department. Dependent on the role the Guider has been selected for a Core Crew, they may be required to assist and prep items prior to the camp. Core Crew arrives onsite the Saturday prior to the start of the event and leave after all the patrols and clean-up have been completed.

There is a $200 Core Crew fee which includes meals, camp shirt and other camp swag.
The deadline to apply is May 8th, 2026
