Special patrol

Bear Clan had the honour and privilege to walk with the men and women of the Winnipeg Police Service Recruiting Class 174.
The class brought sandwiches and water to share with our relatives. We made our way through community pickup hazards and having meaningful conversations with community members, and business owners.
We want to wish recruiting class 174 all the best in their careers, may they take what they learned from today’s patrol and carry it forward throughout their careers.
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and members for coming out to support today’s walk, you are all awesome.

Thank you to our amazing team tonight and to our special guest Mayoral candidate Noah Redden who wanted to come out and put boots to the ground.
Tonight our team loaded our wagon with sandwiches, snack bags, water, sweaters, sock, hygiene and hand warmers.
We also found a community member experiencing a opioid poisoning. Our team acted quickly, calling 911 and administered 3 nasal doses of Naloxone, fire paramedics arrived and we handed over care to them.
Great job team.
