A summer camp filled with connection, friendship, and empowerment. 💛🌿

This year’s summer camp theme was “Me Time”. A chance for our participants to step away from their busy routines, take time for themselves, try new experiences, build confidence, and simply have fun. 💛

At Narrow Lake, Manitoba, our participants came together for swimming and fishing, games and walks, campfires and stargazing. ✨

A big thank you to all our amazing participants for showing up, bringing such positive energy, and being wonderful campers! And a special thank you to the incredible TEEC staff who worked so hard to make this camp possible. 💛

Together, we grow stronger. Together, we belong.

TEEC was honoured and humbled to be invited to Government House by Her Honour Anita Neville, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.

It was a pleasure to join Her Honour for tea and conversation, where she warmly welcomed our group and acknowledged the journeys, experiences, and contributions of newcomer women in Manitoba.

During the visit, we shared our vision and the impact of our work in supporting newcomer women as they build new lives, develop personal skills, strengthen community connections, and create opportunities for success.

We are proud to celebrate the resilience, strength, and achievements of newcomer women, whose contributions continue to enrich communities across Manitoba. Thank you to Her Honour Anita Neville for this meaningful opportunity to share our story and the voices of the women we serve.
Together, we continue building a stronger, more inclusive Manitoba. 🤍

In between all the learning and classes, we took some time to simply have fun! ☀️💛

Today, the women in our summer program enjoyed a day filled with exciting games, fun activities, laughter, and meaningful connections. We wrapped up the day with a relaxing painting session, creating beautiful memories and artwork to take home. 🎨✨

A wonderful reminder that learning, friendship, and fun go hand in hand! 💕
