🎭 **Our Newcomer Journey: Voices of Hope and Belonging**

IPW is pleased to share an invitation from Resilia Community Wellness Centre to an inspiring evening celebrating the newcomer experience through storytelling and theatre.

This multigenerational play will share the stories and experiences of newcomers, highlighting the challenges they face and how they overcome them with hope, resilience, and strength. ❤️

🚨 UPDATE: The Campaign Trail Has Started! 🗳️

This weekend, our mock mayoral candidates got to work preparing for POV: Youth Run The City! 🙌

With the support of mentors, youth began exploring what it means to step into the role of a mayoral candidate, from identifying issues affecting their communities to developing their ideas, perspectives, and priorities for Winnipeg. 💡

Over the next two weeks, they’ll continue learning about municipal government and elections as they prepare to take the stage on October 16!

Join us for a fun, interactive evening featuring a youth mock election, youth voices and Q&A, with mayoral candidates invited to listen and respond to the issues young people identify as important.
