Presented by United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent and the Windsor & District Labour Council, this award recognizes individuals who strengthen our community by inspiring others, fostering collaboration, and leading positive change through service and compassion.

For more than four decades, Darby has been a tireless advocate for workers, families, and community causes throughout Windsor-Essex. Through his leadership with Unifor Local 200 and Ford Motor Company to his dedication on the United Way Labour Cabinet, Darby has consistently brought people together to create meaningful change.

Even in retirement, Darby continues to lead by example, demonstrating the power of service, generosity, and community engagement.
