No animal deserves to be abused, neglected or tortured!
This little kitty was found this morning in a horrific way in Windsor Ontario.
This was NOT a accident, this was intentional. Whomever did this to this sweet little kitty needs to be punished.
If you know who did this please reach out to us or TLC Animal Aid or to Animal Welfare or the Windsor Police and report it.
This kitty wasn't hurting anyone, she was being cared for by a caregiver and she was loved. Just because she didn't have a home doesn't mean she didn't have a right to continue to live her life the way she and her caregiver wanted.
NO ONE has a right to take the life of another living being, whether it be a animal or human!
This morning, we received a phone call that broke our hearts. 💔 A deceased cat was discovered hanging from a fence in an alleyway in downtown Windsor, under circumstances that are deeply disturbing and raise serious concerns about possible animal cruelty.
Her name was Little Baby. 💔
We have photographs of the heartbreaking scene, but they are far too disturbing to share. Instead, we want you to see her beautiful little face and remember her this way.
Little Baby had been through the SNR (Shelter-Neuter-Return) program. Someone, somewhere, had cared enough to bring her in to be spayed, giving her a chance at a healthier life. Someone had looked out for her. Someone had shown her kindness. And now, her life has ended in such a heartbreaking way.
We have reported the incident to Provincial Animal Welfare Services and the Police, and we sincerely hope the circumstances surrounding Little Baby's death will be investigated.
Community cats may not have a home to call their own, but that doesn't make their lives any less valuable. They feel fear. They feel pain. And they deserve kindness and protection just as much as the pets sleeping safely in our homes.
Little Baby had a name. She was known. She was cared for. And her life mattered. We couldn't let her passing go without acknowledging that. 💔
A heartfelt thank you to Pat and Charlene for caring enough to stop, help Little Baby, and make sure she wasn't simply forgotten. In a world where animals can experience such cruelty, we're grateful there are still people who choose kindness and compassion. ❤️
Rest peacefully, Little Baby. You deserved so much better. 💔🌈🐾
