It was so heartwarming yesterday to be back in the Mansion and to welcome visitors to the new exhibits. Thanks to all who attended! HOWEVER, the biggest THANK YOU goes to our amazing volunteers 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ 💖 without whom our very successful opening day would not have been possible. And so...drumroll, please🥁...Here's to: Jessica, Gina, Janet, Martina, Haris, Nancy, Ted, Savannah, Kathie, Irene, Matt, Kate, Don, Cathy, Dave and Linda!

This is a very special week for Les Amis Duff-Bâby. Years of dreaming (and lots of hard work) came to fruition with the opening of new exhibits on the main floor of the Mansion. Funding for this initiative has been provided by the Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan. We invite you to come and explore on the following dates:

All days are noon-4pm. May 30, June 20 and 27, July 11 and 25, August 8 and 22, September 12, October 17, November 14, December 12.

Les Amis Duff-Bâby is very pleased to announce that the Duff-Bâby House will, once again, be open for tours. Following extensive restoration work by the Ontario Heritage Trust and the installation of new exhibits (thanks to the Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan), we're ready to welcome you back. May 30th from noon-4pm. More information to come!

Sneak peak #4: Furniture
We accepted a very special delivery yesterday from Michael Difazio Reclaim Artistry: a bespoke dining room table and chairs. To watch this particular project take shape - from concept to reality - has been an amazing process.
It's part of "From Fur Trader to Physician: Spanning Centuries at the Duff-Baby", our project to reinterpret the first floor of the House thanks to funding from the Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan.
