We're very disappointed to see what's happened at our beautiful park.

This is one of the most frustrating parts of the job.

Earlier this week, the sign at Mary E. Bibb Park was vandalized. Our great team in the Parks Department took it down, cleaned it, and returned it to the park only for it to be vandalized again last night.

This is senseless. It does nothing to help the community, and it takes time and resources away from other work that could be improving our parks and neighbourhoods.

Mary E. Bibb Park is an important community space, that honours her lasting impact as an abolitionist, educator, and community builder with roots in Sandwich Town. Our streets, neighbourhoods and city deserve better than this.
