Accreditation with Imagine Canada's Standards Program!

We are proud to announce that the Huntington Society of Canada has been accredited by Imagine Canadaโ€™s Standards Program, which is designed to strengthen the practices of Canadian charities and nonprofits and increase public confidence in the sectorโ€™s work through demonstrated transparency and accountability.

The Standards strengthen five fundamental areas of governance and operations within every nonprofit organization:

๐Ÿ’™ Board governance
๐Ÿ’™ Financial accountability and transparency
๐Ÿ’™ Fundraising
๐Ÿ’™ Human resources
๐Ÿ’™ Volunteer involvement

The Standards provide shared best practices to strengthen governance, improve operations, and manage risk effectively. We are very proud of this certification!

UniQure reports the U.S. FDA has agreed that existing trial data could support an accelerated approval filing for its HD treatment: AMT-130. This decision is a reversal by the FDA after indicating late last year that available data was insufficient to support a filing. The FDA has now told uniQure that the 3-year analysis would be sufficient as the main basis for a marketing application, and the FDA has agreed to work with uniQure to finalize the design of a required confirmatory study before the filing.
