📖 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

From Ethiopia to Cuba to Nepal and Nigeria; this is not just Scripture to be read.

It’s truth being lived in the middle of crisis, uncertainty, and need.

🕯 Take 30 seconds today.

Pray for someone you’ve never met, but who desperately needs God.

They carry more than a calling.

They carry communities.
They carry burdens.
They carry the weight of souls.

In places like Nigeria, where following Jesus can cost everything, pastors and church planters are not only leading churches — they are leading families through pressure, uncertainty, and sacrifice.

And yet… they worship.

Together with their wives.
With their children nearby.
Hands lifted. Hearts surrendered.

No stage.
No spotlight.
Just devotion.

This moment — pastors and their families gathered, pouring out before the Lord — is a reminder that behind every church plant is a family saying yes to God, again and again.

Pray for them.
Pray for their marriages.
Pray for their children.
Pray for strength to continue the call.

The Gospel is advancing because families are willing to lay everything down.

☕ Morning Reminder ☕

As you sip your coffee today, take a moment to remember that every sunrise is a gift, every breath a grace, and every small act of faith ripples across the nations. 🌍

📖 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

✨ Pray today that our brothers and sisters across Cuba, Ethiopia, and Nepal would continue to shine His light—right where they are.

The Hidden Cost of Shepherding 🕊️

In many of the nations where Emblaze serves; Cuba, Nigeria, Nepal, and Ethiopia, being a pastor is not simply a calling.

It is a sacrifice.

Many pastors walk miles to reach their churches.

Some minister while living under the threat of violence or government pressure.

Others serve in communities where food, medicine, and work are scarce.

They counsel grieving families.
They pray for the sick.
They preach hope in places where hope is hard to find.

And often… they carry these burdens quietly.

Pastor burnout is real across the global Church. When spiritual leaders pour out daily without support, encouragement, or resources, the weight becomes heavy.

But here is the beautiful truth: when the global Church stands together, no pastor has to stand alone.

Through your partnership, pastors receive:

• Discipleship and leadership support
• Practical resources for ministry
• Encouragement to continue the work God has called them to

And the impact multiplies — reaching families, villages, and entire communities.

✨ Action Step

Today, take one minute to support a pastor in the field:

💬 Comment “PRAYING” so we can share specific prayer needs with you.

🤝 Consider becoming a monthly partner to help sustain pastors on the front lines.

The Gospel continues to advance because faithful shepherds refuse to give up.

Let’s make sure they know they are not forgotten.

Before the flights.
Before the village visits.
Before the stories you see.

There are hours no one notices.

Prayer meetings that stretch late.
Budget reviews and accountability calls.
Reports. Planning. Hard conversations.
Travel prep. Government paperwork. Follow-ups.

Kingdom work isn’t spontaneous.
It’s stewarded.

We take that seriously — because you trust us.

Every dollar.
Every partnership.
Every story.

Handled with prayer.
Handled with integrity.
Handled with care.

This is the unseen side of missions.

🎄✨ Ethiopian Christmas in Wondo Genet ✨🎄

In January, we traveled to Wondo Genet to visit some of the families in our Naomi Project — stepping into their homes, sitting on their floors, listening to their stories.

We gathered the widows, widowers, and orphans together for a traditional coffee ceremony, shared a full Ethiopian feast, played games, and handed out new clothes. Laughter filled the air. For a few sacred hours, the weight of hardship lifted.

But one moment marked us deeply.

Three years ago, we promised one of the poorest families a donkey and cart — a pathway to dignity and income. This Christmas, we fulfilled that promise. It is structured as a micro-loan, and once repaid, it will be passed on to lift another family. This is how hope multiplies. This is how dignity is restored.

Before we left, Mama Wondo — a pillar of kindness and generosity in the community — stood and blessed us in Amharic:

“We are always happy to see you and we never want to be without you.
Peace be with you.
Like Jesus who is by you and protects you wherever you go.
That you go home in peace.
We thank you. We thank you.”

We left in peace — but we also left reminded that this work belongs to all of us.

If you give, pray, or share — you are part of these moments.
You are part of the feast.
You are part of the promise kept.
You are part of the blessing.

Missions isn’t an add-on.
It’s not a department.
It’s not a seasonal emphasis.

It’s who we are.

When the Church steps into obedience—proclaiming truth, discipling believers, caring for widows and orphans, strengthening pastors—the Church comes alive.

“The Church is most alive
when it is most on mission.”

🇨🇺 Cuba — People in the Streets Again
Cuban citizens are once again taking to the streets to call for freedom, basic services, and human dignity amid ongoing economic hardship, power outages, and shortages of food and water. In recent months, thousands of Cubans have participated in marches, civic actions, and torch marches that reflect mounting frustration and a deep desire for change. Social tensions are rising as ordinary families demand not only basic necessities but also fundamental freedoms. Citizens across multiple provinces, from Havana to Santiago and Matanzas, are engaging in protests, cacerolazos (pot-banging), and public demonstrations that challenge the status quo and uplift voices of freedom. Independent reports show an unprecedented rise in protests and civic actions throughout 2025 and into 2026, signaling broad public discontent and courage under pressure.

🙏 Let’s pray for courage, protection, and peace for the people of Cuba — and that real, lasting hope would be found for every family in need.

Emblaze Ministries

All over the world men and women are desperately seeking after God. At the same time, national church planting movements are springing up in country after country, and millions of people are finding hope and new life in Jesus Christ. It is our calling to supply national believers with the tools necessary for evangelism and church planting, and by God’s grace, to share their passion with the Church in North America.

By working with local denominations, churches and ministries in countries, we are able to bypass the years of assimilation it takes for a missionary from home to get to know the culture, language, customs and best methods to evangalize the people in their area of target. The men and women we work with are nationals who are already doing the work. We come alongside them and support their leaders already on the field. We provide resources, training, bibles and printed materials as well as funds to do the work necessary to see their communities, cities and regions won for Christ.

Visit our website at www.emblazeministries.com if you would like to partner with us in reaching the nations for Christ or for more information about our work.
