🇨🇺 CUBA IS GOING THROUGH A DARK SEASON.

And we don’t mean that only figuratively.

Across Cuba, families are living through prolonged blackouts, shortages of food and medicine, fuel shortages and a growing humanitarian crisis.

In some places, electricity may return for only a few precious minutes or hours.

Families rush to cook.

To wash clothes.

To charge phones.

To pump water.

To do everything they couldn’t do in the darkness.

And then the lights go out again.

Imagine planning your day around electricity.

Imagine wondering whether there will be enough food.

Imagine needing medicine that simply isn’t available.

Imagine trying to care for your family while basic services around you continue to disappear.

This isn’t a headline to the people of Cuba.

It’s their everyday life.

But here’s what we don’t want you to miss:

Cuba is not without hope.

The Church is still there.

Pastors are still serving.

Families are still gathering.

People are still praying.

And national leaders are still choosing to minister to their communities in the middle of extraordinary hardship.

That’s why Emblaze continues to believe in the importance of standing with the Cuban Church.

We don’t simply want to bring help to Cuba.

We want to strengthen the leaders who are already in Cuba; leaders who know their communities, love their people and continue serving when circumstances are incredibly difficult.

The darkness is real.

But so is the light.

Pray for pastors and church leaders.

Pray for provision, wisdom and protection.

And pray that the Church would continue to be a source of hope in places where hope is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

THE WORLD MOVES ON.

THEY STILL HAVE TO LIVE THROUGH IT.

While the headlines move on to the next story, families in Nigeria are still burying loved ones.

Communities are still being displaced.

Churches are still living with fear.

And believers are still gathering to worship.

Recent attacks across Nigeria's Middle Belt have left communities devastated, with reports of Christians among those killed and thousands facing the consequences of continuing violence.

But here is what the headlines don't always show:

The Church is still standing.
They worship.
They pray.
They serve.
They keep showing up.

Not because they don't know fear.

But because they know where their hope comes from.

🇳🇬 Today, don't scroll past Nigeria.

Stop.

Pray for the families who are grieving.

Pray for pastors protecting their communities.

Pray for children growing up surrounded by violence.

Pray for believers who are choosing faith in the middle of unimaginable circumstances.

And pray that the Church in Nigeria will know that the global Church has not forgotten them.

We don't just stand with the persecuted Church when it's in the headlines.
We stand with them when the headlines are gone.

Some churches have stained glass windows.

Others have concrete walls.

Some gather beneath soaring ceilings.

Others gather beneath unfinished roofs.

Yet the beauty of the Church has never depended on the building.

In Nigeria, countless believers continue to worship with joy despite the reality of violence, displacement, kidnappings, and the ongoing threat of persecution. They come together not because life is easy, but because Christ is worthy.

Their worship isn’t quiet because their faith is weak.

It’s powerful because their hope is unshakable.

As we look at this simple gathering, we’re reminded that the global Church is strongest when it refuses to let fear have the final word.

Today, let’s pray for our brothers and sisters across Nigeria; for protection, courage, peace, and perseverance. May God strengthen every pastor, every family, and every believer who continues to worship faithfully in the face of adversity.

The strongest faith is often found where the cost of following Christ is the greatest.

A meal is never just a meal.

For the widows and orphans we serve in Wondo Genet, Ethiopia, every plate represents something much bigger.

It says:

🍚 You are seen.
❤️ You are loved.
🤝 You are not forgotten.

Today, we watched smiles replace worry as families gathered to eat together. Moments like these remind us that compassion is practical; it looks like food on a table, hope in a child’s eyes, and a community standing together.

This is only possible because people like you choose to care.

Thank you for helping us bring dignity, hope, and the love of Christ to those who need it most.

There is something powerful about surrendered worship.

No spotlight.
No performance.
No distractions.

Just hearts fully yielded to God.

Across Ethiopia, we have watched believers lift their hands in worship with a depth that has been forged through hardship, perseverance, and unwavering faith. Many have endured loss, economic pressure, and uncertainty, yet they continue to declare the goodness of God.

This is the beauty of true worship.

It isn’t dependent on comfort.
It isn’t measured by circumstance.
It is the response of a heart that has encountered Jesus Christ.

May we all learn to worship with the same wholehearted surrender; offering God not only our songs, but our lives.

“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true and proper worship.” - Romans 12:1

Rejoice. Pray. Give thanks.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Even in seasons of uncertainty, pressure, and need, this remains our posture.

Not because everything is easy; but because God is faithful.

Joy is not a reaction to circumstances, it is a decision rooted in Him.
Prayer is not occasional, it is continual connection.
Gratitude is not selective, it is a way of life.

This is the heartbeat we return to at Emblaze:
in every nation, every challenge, every breakthrough;
we keep rejoicing, we keep praying, we keep giving thanks.

🚨 Please Pray for Ethiopia

Reports emerging from Ethiopia indicate that dozens of Orthodox Christian believers have been killed in recent attacks in the East Arsi Zone of Oromia Region. Church leaders are reporting that the death toll has risen beyond the initial reports, with entire communities affected and hundreds displaced.

Among the losses was a 101-year-old church that was reportedly destroyed by fire.

As followers of Christ, we grieve with those who grieve.

Regardless of denomination, when one part of the Body of Christ suffers, we all suffer. These are fathers, mothers, children, pastors, and faithful believers created in the image of God.

Today we invite our Emblaze family to pray:

🙏 For the families who have lost loved ones
🙏 For comfort for those who are mourning
🙏 For protection over vulnerable Christian communities
🙏 For wisdom and justice from local authorities
🙏 For peace in regions affected by violence
🙏 For the Church to remain steadfast in faith and hope

What happens when you stop asking, “What program can we bring?” and start asking, “What do you need?”

Years ago, Cuba was experiencing remarkable church growth. People were coming to Christ. Churches were expanding.

But there was a hidden crisis.

When our founder, Darryl Wright, sat down with Cuban church leaders and asked a simple question—“What is your greatest need?”—their answer was unexpected:

Stronger marriages. Stronger families.

As revival swept across the nation, many pastors were watching families struggle under the pressures of poverty, hardship, and broken relationships.

Instead of reinventing the wheel, Darryl and Michele Wright partnered with Don and Sally Meredith of Christian Family Life and brought the Two Becoming One marriage curriculum to Cuba.

What happened next was extraordinary.

As marriages were strengthened, families were restored. As families became healthier, churches became stronger.

The result? Church growth increased by approximately 30%.

This partnership became the beginning of a relationship that continues to this day. Together, Emblaze Ministries and Christian Family Life have worked to strengthen marriages, families, and the Church—not only in Cuba, but around the world.

Darryl often said:

“Why reinvent the wheel?”

That principle remains one of the pillars of Emblaze today. We believe the Kingdom advances best when ministries work together, leveraging their unique strengths for God’s glory.

🚨 Cuba’s crisis is reaching heartbreaking levels.

Right now, many of our pastors, churches, and ministry workers are being critically affected by:

⚠️ Severe food shortages
⚠️ Widespread illness
⚠️ Constant power outages
⚠️ Lack of clean water
⚠️ Fuel scarcity across the country
⚠️ Mass Hospital Closures

In some areas, a full month’s salary is now only enough to buy approximately TWO days worth of food.

We have received multiple urgent requests for prayer from pastors and families who are exhausted, hungry, and struggling to continue serving their communities while facing the crisis themselves.

And yet… they continue putting others first.
Still praying.
Still preaching.
Still caring for people in need.

Because of faithful supporters like YOU, they know they are not forgotten. 💛

This is more than missions.

• To remember them.
• To pray for the pastor preaching through persecution.
• To pray for the mother feeding her children through scarcity.
• To pray for the believer standing firm despite rejection or fear.

Many of them will never know your name this side of heaven.

But your prayers matter.
