Emblaze It is our calling to supply international believers with the tools necessary for church planting.

Cuba is making headlines again.

Blackouts.
Shortages.
Economic hardship.
Uncertainty.

But there is another story coming out of Cuba.

The Church is moving.

This month, an evangelistic caravan traveled through 12 of Cuba’s 15 provinces.

Churches gathered.
People worshipped.
The Gospel was preached.
People were baptized.
New congregations were organized.

And much of it happened in the dark.

One Cuban church leader described arriving in places without electricity, only to find the churches completely full.

That picture says something the headlines can’t capture:

The Church does not need perfect circumstances to be faithful.

It needs willing people.

People who will pray.
People who will preach.
People who will worship.
People who will open their doors.
People who will keep going.

Because revival doesn’t wait for the lights to come back on.

God is still at work in Cuba.

And we believe the story of Cuba is not finished.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” - Isaiah 60:1

The Church is praying.
The Church is serving.
The Church is preaching.

And the Gospel is still advancing.

DON’T GIVE UP. 🌱

Some seasons feel like nothing is changing.

You pray, but you don’t see the answer.
You serve, but no one seems to notice.
You give, but the need keeps growing.
You sow, but the harvest feels far away.

Keep going.

📖 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9

Across the nations, we see believers living this verse.

Pastors keep preaching.
Church planters keep going.
Families keep praying.
Believers keep worshipping.
The Church keeps serving.

And often, the greatest work of God is happening long before we can see the harvest.

Your faithfulness matters.
Your prayers matter.
Your obedience matters.

So whatever God has placed before you today:

Don’t grow weary.
Don’t lose heart.
Don’t stop sowing.

The harvest is in His hands. 🌾

Sometimes the most important stories don’t make the headlines.

This year in Santiago de Cuba, 17 students graduated from ministry training through the Emblaze church after two years of study. (RCC)

They studied in a season marked by economic hardship, transportation challenges, healthcare shortages and migration.

And they kept going.

Because the goal was never simply to complete a course.

The goal was to equip leaders who can equip others.

This is what sustainable ministry looks like.

One leader.
Then another.
Then another.

The church in Cuba doesn’t simply need people to come and help.

It needs Cuban leaders who are equipped to lead, disciple, teach and build the Church from within.

17 graduates is not the end of a program.

It’s the beginning of what those 17 leaders will carry forward.

🇳🇵 NEPAL, WE ARE PRAYING.

This week, Nepal has been struck by a devastating disaster.

A catastrophic flash flood following a glacial collapse has swept through communities near the Nepal; Tibet border, destroying homes, roads, bridges and livelihoods. More than 900 people have now been reported dead, with thousands still missing. (Reuters)

And yet, in the middle of heartbreaking loss, we have something to be deeply grateful for:

Our Emblaze-supported pastors are safe.
Our church plants are safe.
Our congregations are safe.

But many others are mourning tonight.

Families are searching for loved ones. Communities are digging through the devastation. Rescue workers are still searching, while survivors face the enormous task of rebuilding their lives.

So we are asking the Emblaze family to pray for Nepal.

Pray for the families who have lost loved ones.
Pray for those still missing.
Pray for rescue and recovery efforts.
Pray for those who have lost homes and livelihoods.
And pray for the Church in Nepal as it comes alongside those who are hurting.

The global Church is not bound by borders.

When one part of the Body suffers, we suffer together.

🇨🇺 CUBA IS GOING THROUGH A DARK SEASON.

And we don’t mean that only figuratively.

Across Cuba, families are living through prolonged blackouts, shortages of food and medicine, fuel shortages and a growing humanitarian crisis.

In some places, electricity may return for only a few precious minutes or hours.

Families rush to cook.

To wash clothes.

To charge phones.

To pump water.

To do everything they couldn’t do in the darkness.

And then the lights go out again.

Imagine planning your day around electricity.

Imagine wondering whether there will be enough food.

Imagine needing medicine that simply isn’t available.

Imagine trying to care for your family while basic services around you continue to disappear.

This isn’t a headline to the people of Cuba.

It’s their everyday life.

But here’s what we don’t want you to miss:

Cuba is not without hope.

The Church is still there.

Pastors are still serving.

Families are still gathering.

People are still praying.

And national leaders are still choosing to minister to their communities in the middle of extraordinary hardship.

That’s why Emblaze continues to believe in the importance of standing with the Cuban Church.

We don’t simply want to bring help to Cuba.

We want to strengthen the leaders who are already in Cuba; leaders who know their communities, love their people and continue serving when circumstances are incredibly difficult.

The darkness is real.

But so is the light.

Cuba, you are not forgotten. 🇨🇺❤️

Please pray for the families of Cuba.

Pray for pastors and church leaders.

Pray for provision, wisdom and protection.

And pray that the Church would continue to be a source of hope in places where hope is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

THE WORLD MOVES ON.

THEY STILL HAVE TO LIVE THROUGH IT.

While the headlines move on to the next story, families in Nigeria are still burying loved ones.

Communities are still being displaced.

Churches are still living with fear.

And believers are still gathering to worship.

Recent attacks across Nigeria's Middle Belt have left communities devastated, with reports of Christians among those killed and thousands facing the consequences of continuing violence.

But here is what the headlines don't always show:

The Church is still standing.
They worship.
They pray.
They serve.
They keep showing up.

Not because they don't know fear.

But because they know where their hope comes from.

🇳🇬 Today, don't scroll past Nigeria.

Stop.

Pray for the families who are grieving.

Pray for pastors protecting their communities.

Pray for children growing up surrounded by violence.

Pray for believers who are choosing faith in the middle of unimaginable circumstances.

And pray that the Church in Nigeria will know that the global Church has not forgotten them.

We don't just stand with the persecuted Church when it's in the headlines.
We stand with them when the headlines are gone.

Some churches have stained glass windows.

Others have concrete walls.

Some gather beneath soaring ceilings.

Others gather beneath unfinished roofs.

Yet the beauty of the Church has never depended on the building.

In Nigeria, countless believers continue to worship with joy despite the reality of violence, displacement, kidnappings, and the ongoing threat of persecution. They come together not because life is easy, but because Christ is worthy.

Their worship isn’t quiet because their faith is weak.

It’s powerful because their hope is unshakable.

As we look at this simple gathering, we’re reminded that the global Church is strongest when it refuses to let fear have the final word.

Today, let’s pray for our brothers and sisters across Nigeria; for protection, courage, peace, and perseverance. May God strengthen every pastor, every family, and every believer who continues to worship faithfully in the face of adversity.

The strongest faith is often found where the cost of following Christ is the greatest.

A meal is never just a meal.

For the widows and orphans we serve in Wondo Genet, Ethiopia, every plate represents something much bigger.

It says:

🍚 You are seen.
❤️ You are loved.
🤝 You are not forgotten.

Today, we watched smiles replace worry as families gathered to eat together. Moments like these remind us that compassion is practical; it looks like food on a table, hope in a child’s eyes, and a community standing together.

This is only possible because people like you choose to care.

Thank you for helping us bring dignity, hope, and the love of Christ to those who need it most.

There is something powerful about surrendered worship.

No spotlight.
No performance.
No distractions.

Just hearts fully yielded to God.

Across Ethiopia, we have watched believers lift their hands in worship with a depth that has been forged through hardship, perseverance, and unwavering faith. Many have endured loss, economic pressure, and uncertainty, yet they continue to declare the goodness of God.

This is the beauty of true worship.

It isn’t dependent on comfort.
It isn’t measured by circumstance.
It is the response of a heart that has encountered Jesus Christ.

May we all learn to worship with the same wholehearted surrender; offering God not only our songs, but our lives.

“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true and proper worship.” - Romans 12:1

Rejoice. Pray. Give thanks.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Even in seasons of uncertainty, pressure, and need, this remains our posture.

Not because everything is easy; but because God is faithful.

Joy is not a reaction to circumstances, it is a decision rooted in Him.
Prayer is not occasional, it is continual connection.
Gratitude is not selective, it is a way of life.

This is the heartbeat we return to at Emblaze:
in every nation, every challenge, every breakthrough;
we keep rejoicing, we keep praying, we keep giving thanks.
