The Sibshops summer camp is open for registration. Join us for games, activities and peer support where children can connect with others who share the experience of having siblings with neurodiversities. NONA Child Development Centre will light up in blue to mark Apraxia Awareness Day, shining a light for every child finding their voice. Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder that makes it hard for a child to plan and coordinate the movements needed for clear speech, even though they know what they want to say. Early diagnosis, speech therapy, and family support make a big difference. To families, speech therapists, and educators working to help children communicate: thank you, we see you, and we stand with you.

It’s Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness at NONA Child Development Centre! Did you know that approximately 1 in 100 people in Canada live with epilepsy? And 13% were children and youth (aged 1 to 19 years). This condition can significantly impact their daily lives, but with support and understanding, they can thrive.

Our building will glow in purple tonight, reminding us all of the strength and resilience of individuals living with this condition.
