This morning, the Rotary Club of Silver Star Vernon completed another year of caring for Reach 8 of BX Creek. 💙🌿
There is something incredibly rewarding about coming together as volunteers and knowing that, in some small way, we are leaving our City of Vernon a little better than we found it.
For years, Rotary volunteers have returned to this stretch of BX Creek- not because we have to, but because we believe in giving back to the community we call home.
It’s muddy. It’s sometimes hard work. But it is also deeply rewarding.
This is what “Service Above Self” means to us: rolling up our sleeves, caring for our environment, and making a difference—one creek, one community and one volunteer at a time.
Proud to serve Vernon. Proud to care for BX Creek. Proud to be Rotary. 🌿💙
