It started with a simple question: where can I donate this?

Jennifer Randall Nelson was a mom of three with gently used baby gear and nowhere meaningful to take it - no place that would pass it on with care and intention. So in October 2012, she opened BabyGoRound's doors with a vision that every family deserves a strong, healthy start.

That vision hasn't wavered once in 14 years.

What has changed is everything around it - two locations, thousands of families served, and so many seasons of growth, challenge, and community showing up in the most beautiful ways.

We are so grateful to every volunteer, donor, agency partner, and Community Champion who has walked alongside us through every single one of those seasons. You are the reason we're still here, still growing, and still able to say yes to more families than ever before. 💕

💡 Did you know?!

At around six months, our clients can come back for a second appointment! Families return the items their baby has outgrown and exchange them for more age-appropriate essentials.

Babies grow quickly... and their needs change just as fast. By welcoming families back, we’re able to continue providing essential baby gear for every baby while ensuring items are reused and shared with another little one in our community.

Because of you, more families like Jandy’s across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley can access the essential baby gear, practical support, and peace of mind they need in the earliest days of parenthood. That kind of support changes everything.

On this Mother's Day, we're thinking about all the mothers in our community - the ones navigating joy and fear side by side, the ones choosing hope even when uncertainty feels overwhelming.

We're so grateful to know such courageous, loving, and deeply inspiring women. The mothers we support through our doors, and the mothers (and mother-figures) who make our work possible with their care and generosity.

Your kindness transforms a mother's fear into calm, her isolation into belonging, her worry into the peace of mind that her baby is safe and cared for. Because of you, moms like Jandy can focus on what matters most -welcoming their little ones with joy.

We’ve all seen prices at the grocery store climb, but for the families we serve, the cost of baby essentials is hitting a breaking point.

As Mother’s Day approaches, “baby inflation" continues to sky-rocket, and more struggling moms are reaching out than ever before:

- Essentials like diapers and formula have jumped 30-50% in price.
- Nearly 1 in 6 children in our province live in poverty.
- We have seen a 149% increase in referrals to BabyGoRound over the last three years.

Affording a family shouldn’t feel this hard. But there’s hope for moms like Jandy, because of donors like you.
