The Renfrew-Collingwood Indigenous Youth C.R.E.W (Culture, Recreation, Education and Work) Program is a youth-led program that offers Indigenous youth opportunities to participate in traditional canoeing in large Northern Dancer canoes. The program offers healthy, outdoor activities, building canoe and water safety skills, increasing cultural knowledge and canoe protocols as well as socializing po

sitively with Indigenous youth and adult role models. Through these activities, the focus is on Indigenous youth between the ages of 10 to 29, to learn new skills, enhance their leadership roles, encourage them to lead program activities and become more involved in community life

🌿 May Indigenous Programming Calendar – Collingwood Neighbourhood House (CNH) 🌿

We’re excited to share our May Indigenous Programming, created in partnership with the VACPC Youth Coordinator! Join us for a month of culture, connection, wellness, and community for youth and families.

From hands-on activities to gathering spaces, there’s something for everyone to learn, share, and grow together 💛

✨ Highlights include:
• Family Fitness
• Cultural activities & teachings
• Youth-focused programming
• Community connection opportunities

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Please note:
Family Fitness is open to families. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during programming.
Activities may change at any time—please keep an eye out for updates!

🌿 The rest of April is in full swing at Collingwood Neighbourhood House for the Indigenous Programs 🌿

From family drop-ins and cultural activities to youth gatherings and shared meals, there’s something for everyone to feel welcomed and supported. Come learn, laugh, and grow together in a safe and inclusive space.

VACPC and CREW partnering up again to support our youth 💫 From registration to opening ceremonies and an incredible talent show — the energy has been amazing.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our Holiday Dinner on December 16, 2025 💛
It was such a wonderful evening filled with laughter, good food, and great company. We’re so grateful to have been able to spend time together and celebrate the season in such a warm and welcoming space.

A huge thank you to our amazing cooks and their helpers for the delicious meal — we truly couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you for bringing your energy, smiles, and community spirit — it truly made the night special.

Please note that the program will be closed until the new year and will reopen on January 6th. We wish everyone a restful holiday season and look forward to seeing you in the new year ✨
