CNH is a welcoming place where people of all ages, nationalities, abilities, and languages can attend, participate, belong, grow, lead and learn through our programs, services, initiatives, and events. Collingwood Neighbourhood House respects and honours the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and the Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples on whose traditional and unceded territory we work, live, and play.

Seniors, join us for Monday Fun Days at the CNH Seniors Club!

Happening every Monday from 1:30-3pm at the Multipurpose Room, this program is a space for folks to enjoy some games and activities with your neighbours. There will be no session on October 12 due to the statutory holiday; on October 19, we'll be hosting a karaoke session so get ready to sing and listen to songs in different languages!

The Social Club is free with a Seniors' Membership. For more info on this and other Seniors' programs, call 604-435-0323.

Our next Community Kitchen is happening on Wednesday, October 28 at 5:30pm! Learn some cooking skills, enjoy great food, and make some connections with your neighbours as we refine recipes for the Collingwood Community Cookbook!

Get moving and meet new people at the CNH Seniors Walking Club! This free program takes place every Monday and Wednesday, with the walks starting out at the CNH Lobby at 10am. Folks are asked to arrive 10 minutes early so that the group can leave on time. Monday walks will be around the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood. The schedule for Wednesday walks this October is as follows:

October 7 - White Rock Pier
October 14 - Brunette-Fraser Regional Greenway, New Westminster
October 21 - IKEA, Richmond
October 28 - New Brighton Park, Vancouver

Don't forget to dress for the weather, and bring your bus pass and a lunch for the Wednesday walks! For more information, call reception at 604-435-0323. The Walking Club is free with a CNH Membership ($2 per year).

Have your say in our 2026-2031 Strategic Planning process by filling out a survey!

You will not be asked to provide your name with your survey responses, but many of your answers will be shared verbatim in an aggregated summary of responses, provided to the Board and leadership staff in advance of facilitated discussions during the full-day strategic planning session in October. Your input through the survey will be used to clarify current strengths, challenges, and opportunities, and identify diverse perspective on current and future organizational priorities.

Collingwood Neighbourhood House will be closed on Wednesdsay, September 30, for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This day honours the memory of the Indigenous children forcibly removed from their homes and taken to residential schools. Many never returned to their families and communities.

This day is intended to be an act of reconciliation to acknowledge the devastating harm inflicted upon First Peoples in the past and the ongoing impact and generational trauma that continues today.

We encourage folks to take this time to reflect on the ongoing history and legacy of the residential school system, listen to the voices of Indigenous survivors, and participate in meaningful action, not only on September 30th, but everyday.

Social Prescribing bridges health and social services by supporting adults aged 55+ in Renfrew-Collingwood to local, non-clinical services to holistically address their needs. CNH staff work close with each senior to develop and implement a wellness plan, based on the senior’s needs and goals, and by connecting them to local supports, such as transportation, food security, and information resources.

We have many drop-in recreation classes to get you moving, so you don't have to commit to weeks-long programs! We have zumba, pilates, soccer, badminton, and more. Folks can reserve their drop-in spot 24 hours before the start of the program.
