Amazon workers win again! A Canadian labour board has just ordered Amazon into binding arbitration to settle a first collective agreement with Unifor.

Amazon spent months refusing to bargain seriously at the YVR2 warehouse in British Columbia, so an independent arbitrator will now decide the agreement – which will be the first union contract for Amazon workers anywhere in North America.

"Amazon doesn't get it: workers have basic rights and deserve respect. We're going to fight for justice at YVR2 and anywhere else workers form a union," said National President Lana Payne.

The ruling is part of a run of legal defeats for Amazon, including one that forced the company to pay back-wages after it was found unfairly freezing the pay of unionized workers.

Solidarity with these workers who are proving that together we can !
