Union education is about building and strengthening the abilities of our leadership, activists and members to fully engage in their union and in their community. Unifor education includes programs designed to strengthen basic skills such as representing members through the grievance procedure, health and safety committees or through collective bargaining as well as courses that look at broader soc

ial issues like globalization or the environment. We also have programs focused on developing capacity in equity seeking groups such as our program for Aboriginal and Workers of Colour and programs specifically for women, youth and members of the Pride community. Some of our programs are delivered in local communities others at our Family Education Centre in Port Elgin, Ontario. With over 40 courses, ranging in length from 1 day to 4 weeks, there is something for everyone!
