不再靠自己的力量掌控一切，

因为祢是神，
祢在我的生命中掌权。

Lord,
Please quiet my heart
and keep me from being troubled
by busyness and worry.
Help me let go of my struggles,
to wait in still for You
and trust in You alone.

Help me let go,
and stop trying to control everything
by my own strength.
Instead, help me look to You alone.

Help me stop and rest,
because You are God,
and You are sovereign over my life.

我曾想倚靠有权有势的人，
却发现人是何等不可靠。
即使人愿意帮助我，
也有自己的局限；
人不过是一口气，
连自己都无法拯救。

唯有祢永远信实，
大有能力，永不改变。
求祢帮助我不再倚靠人，
而是单单仰望祢、信靠祢。
因为祢才是我永远的盼望。

Lord,
I once wanted to rely on people who were powerful and influential,
but I discovered how unreliable people can be.
Even when people are willing to help me,
they have their own limitations.
Human beings are but a breath;
they cannot even save themselves.

You alone are forever faithful,
mighty in power, and unchanging.
Help me not to rely on people anymore,
but to look to You alone and trust in You.
For You alone are my eternal hope.

至于一切骄傲狂妄、抵挡祢的恶者，
终必按祢公义的审判被倾覆。

愿我一生谦卑在祢面前，
紧紧倚靠祢。

Lord,
I need humility in order to truly know You;
I need humility to learn to rely on You;
I need humility to recognize how deeply I need You.

When I fall, please lift me up
and help me find renewed strength in You.
As for all those who are proud and arrogant,
who resist and oppose You,
they will ultimately be brought down
under Your righteous judgment.

May I live my whole life humbly before You,
holding tightly to You
and relying on You.

感恩这一天我们遇到很多不同背景的人，有穆斯林小朋友，犹太朋友，基督徒等，并和他们进行了友好的对话。另外有一位伊朗新移民，我们从生活中的困难聊到圣经和教会，他也表现出了兴趣。一位女生主动询问我们信仰路上的turning point，让我们有机会分享见证，和她聊了很久。每一次相遇都让我们看到不同的需要，求神安慰失丧忧伤的灵，也继续预备人的心，让福音的种子能够生长、结出果子🙏

8/13 TMU:今日我们查考约翰一书第一章，虽然篇幅较短，但是总结了福音之核心以及信徒如何与主保持关系的总体说明。从生命之道至世界的光，我们体会到神的计划是我们意想不到，他让我们得到最好的礼物：主耶稣的救赎，因信称义。有了赎罪祭，我们才有了真的平安和希望。这正是书上用光的比喻解释主的大能，以及我们也要说到做到，跟随主的步伐，而不是嘴上说可是实际行动却得过且过。

求祢帮助我不要凭自己的聪明去忧虑，
而是相信祢知道一切，也掌管一切，
祢必安排我前面的道路。

Lord,
You are the God who created the universe and all things.
How great is Your power!
How unfathomable is Your wisdom!

Before You, I can only humbly bow down
and acknowledge how much I truly need You.
Help me not to worry by relying on my own understanding,
but to trust that You know everything and are in control of everything.
You will surely guide and prepare the way before me.

Lord,
when I look up at the vastness of the starry sky,
I cannot help but think:
You know the number of every star in heaven,
and You have even given each one a name.
How much more, then, do You know me!

Thank You for knowing me, remembering me,
and watching over me every single day!
