Another pipeline is being sold to Canadians as a win for the economy.

Big Oil profits. Canadians pay the price.
Check out our recent backgrounder for the facts behind the pipeline push.

These are the lands adjacent to Rouge National Urban Park - 9,300 acres filled with pristine streams and diverse animals and plants. However, they are at risk of being paved over for development. Our solution? Let’s add them to Rouge National Urban Park and have them protected forever. These lands can produce food, water, oxygen, wildlife habitat, and be a place of peace and recreation for residents forever. They would be privatized and paved only once. 🚨 ACTION ALERT: Premier Ford has opened the door to water privatization in Ontario — and he’s hoping you won’t notice.

The Water and Wastewater Public Corporations Act gives the government sweeping powers to seize municipal water systems — like drinking water and sewage — and hand them over to for-profit corporations.

History is clear: when for-profit corporations control our water systems, the results are disastrous:

💸 Bigger bills.

🚱 Bad service.

☠️ Dirty water.

Water is a human right — not a commodity. It's not too late to stop this.

👉 Tell Premier Ford our water is NOT for sale.

PM Carney promised forward thinking. Instead, his proposed changes to environmental reviews would drag Canada back to the 1950s — gutting protections that prevent disasters like arsenic-poisoned mines and mercury-contaminated rivers.

This isn't progress. It's recklessness that threatens clean water, endangered species, and our future. Canada deserves better than a return to the toxic, destructive era when industry polluted freely and communities suffered.

It’s Endangered Species Day, so let’s talk about some of the species threatened by Ontario’s planned Highway 413. This Highway will not only cost $14 billion in taxpayer money, but it’ll also make your commute worse. Not to mention - pave over the precious habitat of these animals.
