Our STEM Homework Club got hands-on with a fun tin foil boat experiment! ⛵🔬

The session started with a short lesson on buoyancy and gravity before the kids were challenged to create their own boats using only tin foil. With limited instructions, they were encouraged to get creative, think independently, and come up with their own designs.

Once their boats were ready, it was time to put them to the test! 💧 We added marbles one by one to see how much weight each boat could hold before sinking or tipping over.
It was a fun evening of experimenting, problem-solving, and learning that gave our kids the chance to see STEM concepts come to life!

For the past four years, Frontlines has been a place where William can have fun, express himself, try new things, and build meaningful friendships. From discovering his creativity through art to challenging himself through activities like balloon volleyball, he continues to grow in confidence and find new ways to showcase his talents.

We’re proud to be a space where children like William can explore their interests, build connections, and simply feel comfortable being themselves. We can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next! 🌟

Looking for a place where your child can get homework support while also having fun learning? 📚

🔬 Our S.T.E.M Homework Club is open to children ages 6–12, with homework tutoring and assistance on Mondays and hands-on STEM workshops on Tuesdays.

Another skill added to the toolkit for our FEET participants! 👏🏾

A big thank you to .pt for spending the day with Cohort 11 and leading them through CPR & First Aid training. From practicing CPR to learning what to do when an emergency happens, our participants got the chance to learn by doing and ask questions along the way.

These are the kinds of practical skills we want our FEET participants to leave the program with, skills that can support them at work, at home, and in their communities.
Thank you, Daniel, for helping get Cohort 11 certified and ready for what’s next!

Breakfast for dinner? Yes please! 🍳

Our young chefs switched things up during our latest So You Think You Can Cook session and made a delicious breakfast for dinner, with French omelettes as the star of the menu!

The kids got hands-on in the kitchen, learned new cooking techniques, and continued building their confidence while having plenty of fun along the way. There’s nothing better than seeing them proud of a meal they helped prepare!

Another great night of cooking, learning, and eating together at Frontlines!

F.E.E.T gives youth ages 15–30 the chance to get paid while building career skills, explore different career paths, strengthen their resume, make connections, and access job, internship, and networking opportunities.
