Our President, Cherri Hurst, was honoured last night at the EHS AGM! With a lovely speech given as well by our Past President, Mary Louise Ashbourne. Congrats to Cherri - very well deserved award! 🥳🥳

EHS is honoured to present Cherri Hurst with the Etobicoke Historical Society's 2026 Jean Hibbert Memorial Award.

Our friends at Crossroads Theatre invite everyone to come out to 'play'... see info below:

The Assembly is an interactive theatre-meets-board-game experience about sustainability and democracy where theatre, strategy, and social activism meet!

Nominated for five Dora Mavor Moore awards in 2025, we're bringing this special show back to schools this spring, and we wanted to give our community a couple of extra opportunities to see the show right here at Weston Common (34 John Street)!

The show is designed for grades 6-8, but these public performances are open to families and learners of all ages. ✨

This show is a fun, cooperative 75-minute challenge that gives students and audience members the chance to collaborate, deepen their empathy, and understand their impact on future generations.
