🎙️ Mark your calendar for the 2026 Yee Hong A1 Radiothon! 👂💬

Yee Hong may be best known for our long-term care homes, but our work goes far beyond our walls. Every year, we support 15,000 seniors and caregivers through a wide range of community and professional services, helping them stay connected, active and supported in the community. We are also home to the Peter K Kwok Hospice, where we provide compassionate, free end-of-life care to those who need it most. We innovate, commit and care for our seniors with compassion.

This year, we’re coming together once again to raise funds for the Yee Hong community.

A big thank you to the Canada Fujian Golf Association (CFGA) for generously donating $3,888 to support the Yee Hong Foundation! 💚

The funds were raised through CFGA’s annual golf tournament, bringing together a love of golf and a shared commitment to supporting seniors in our community.

From every step on the path to every smile along the way, POP-UP for Love Gives 2026 brought our community together in support of Yee Hong seniors. With more than 500 participants joining us at Milliken District Park, the day was filled with energy, connection and love for our seniors.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from the Toronto Police Service East Asian Internal Support Network (EA-ISN) to the Yee Hong Foundation office for a cheque presentation following the 10th Annual EA-ISN Charity Golf Tournament, held on September 17.

Through this year’s tournament, $12,000 was raised for Yee Hong Foundation, supporting our mission to provide culturally appropriate, high-quality seniors care.

During their visit, we also had the pleasure of showing them the Yee Hong Peter K Kwok Hospice and sharing more about the compassionate, culturally sensitive care we provide to residents and their families.

We are grateful for the dedication of the organizers, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who contributed to making this tournament a success. Your generosity and commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive community make a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors and families we serve.

We are deeply grateful to Kenny for his generous $75,000 donation to the Yee Hong Foundation at the 30th Anniversary Dinner of his accounting firm. As a valued member of the Foundation Board and longtime supporter, Kenny has been a steadfast partner in helping advance seniors care in our community.

What a day to remember! 👣 💕

Last Saturday, over 500 people came together to walk for our seniors at the POP-UP for Love Gives Charity Walk 2026! From little ones to our oldest participant, who was 96 years young, and even a few four-legged friends, it was wonderful to see so many generations walking together for a cause we all care about.

The walk may be over, but you can still make a difference! Donations are open until October 16. Every gift helps support Yee Hong’s seniors and the care and services they need.

Once again, our longtime supporter, Mabel, has brought the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival to our Yee Hong Garden Terrace seniors with a generous donation of delicious mooncakes!

The thought and care behind this gift made it even more special. Mabel specially requested that the mooncakes be made with a lighter, healthier recipe, thoughtfully prepared with our seniors’ well-being in mind while still preserving the delicious taste and festive tradition they love. A little sweetness, a lot of heart. 💚
