Today, United Trinbago West Indian Association (Uni-TnT) joins communities across Canada in recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We honour and remember the Indigenous children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry their stories.
As an organization rooted in community, culture, and connection, we recognize the importance of listening, learning, reflecting, and standing in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples.
Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and each of us has a role to play through education, understanding, remembrance, and meaningful action.
Today and always, we honour the stories, strength, and resilience of Indigenous Peoples.
