Black Sage Carnival

Black Sage Carnival A new look and feel, but with the same quality and craftsmenship. It's a family thing......Black Sage Carnival

Formerly Nip Davis and Associates and Scarborough Caribbean Sports Club

In 2009, Black Sage Carnival (BSC) was created, a blending of two unique, and creative organizations. Black Sage Carnival is fuelled by the desire to be one of the top bands in Toronto’s Caribana. It’s our belief at BSC, that we are at the beginning of an amazing journey and 2008 was the first step on this journey. Black Sage

Carnival is lead by Corey Howard, a dedicated, young man, who has mentored under Band Leaders Nip Davis and Alvin Adore, studied under Mas makers Owen Hodge, Lloyd Best, and Mas designer Walter Elliot. His goal is to make this united organization one of Toronto’s top Caribana Bands. Supporting Corey in his goal is a dedicated committee and amazing volunteers, whose goals are to give a new flavour, with excellent craftsmanship, to the Scotia Bank Caribana 2011 scene. In 2015 Black Sage Carnival teamed up with tribal Carnival producing the Queen of the band. This year BSC will produce a section in Tribal Carnival's 10th year, Tribal 10. BSC will reproduce Tribals popular section Skittles with a new flare to the presentation. Look out for BSC section Sour Skittles on the road with Tribal Carnival for the 2016 Carnival
