Crohn's and Colitis Canada was founded in 1974 by concerned parents who believed their children, and others living with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, deserved better care and better lives. That founding principle guides us today as we invest in research, offer patient support programs, and team up with volunteers to take on inflammatory bowel disease.

Get to know the latest Gutsy Learning Series (GLS) speakers: Dr. Vipul Jairath and lived experience partner Rebecca Voltan!

Dr. Jairath is a gastroenterologist at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and leads the IBD Centre at University Hospital (London Health Sciences Centre).

Rebecca Voltan lives with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and works in Corporate Finance as a Manager of Strategy and Planning within Global Security and Defence.
