This page will include Volunteer highlights, stories, and information on the Volunteer Resources Department. page is monitored during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00am- 4:00pm. The University Health Network consists of 4 hospitals in which you could volunteer - Toronto General, Toronto Western, Toronto Rehab, and Princess Margaret Cancer Center. Back to school season didn't stop our volunteers from giving back to our hospital community. This September, our volunteers assisted over 8000 patients in various roles throughout each of our hospitals sites. That's more than 8000 people they were able to make a difference to 💙

Now presenting UHN Volunteer Resources' stats for August 2024! 🎆🔥

Even with the end of summer upon us, that didn't stop our volunteers from offering their support! With 474 active volunteers filling 574 roles, that means we had countless volunteers pitching in for multiple weekly shifts - sometimes in different areas, and sometimes at a different UHN hospital entirely 😎

Our volunteers have been going above and beyond this summer to support our patients, staff, and community all across UHN! We saw huge increases in volunteer impact in countless departments, including a whopping 73% increase in patient trays audited!

Thrilled to present Volunteer Resources' stats for this past May!

Our volunteer Navigators have been hard at work assisting patients and visitors find their ways across UHN. Just this past month alone, over 2000 more people have been able to safely and smoothly get to their appointments, visit their loved ones, and more!
