Ce mois-ci est à la fois une célébration, un appel à l’action et un moment pour honorer les communautés 2SLGBTQIA+, tout en poursuivant le travail nécessaire pour bâtir des communautés plus sécuritaires et inclusives pour tout le monde.

À la YWCA Canada et partout dans nos associations membres à travers le pays, nous croyons que l’équité signifie que chaque personne a sa place. Nous nous engageons à porter ces valeurs ce mois-ci et toute l’année.

En tant qu’organisme national de défense des droits, YWCA Canada est fière de contribuer à mobiliser l’action collective pour l’équité de genre. Notre réseau démontre ce qu’il est possible d’accomplir lorsque 29 YWCA locales, notre bureau national et des partenaires féministes à travers le pays unissent leurs voix pour défendre une cause commune.

Nous continuerons de revendiquer des changements systémiques qui favorisent l’équité économique et contribuent à bâtir des communautés plus sécuritaires et plus équitables pour les femmes et les personnes de divers genres partout au Canada.

As a national advocacy organization, YWCA Canada is proud to help drive collective action for gender equity. Our network shows what’s possible when 29 local YWCAs, our national office, and feminist partners across the country advocate together.

We will continue to push for systemic change that advances economic equity and builds safer, more equitable communities for women and gender-diverse people across Canada.

En cette Journée internationale contre l’homophobie, la transphobie et la biphobie, nous rappelons que l’égalité ne peut exister sans sécurité, inclusion et justice pour les communautés 2SLGBTQIA+.

YWCA Canada s’oppose à toutes les formes de haine et de discrimination. Nous demeurons engagées à faire avancer l’équité de genre en plaçant au centre les voix, les droits et les réalités vécues des personnes 2SLGBTQIA+.

Nous soulignons leur leadership, leur résilience et leur mobilisation, et réaffirmons notre engagement à créer des espaces où chaque personne peut se sentir accueillie, valorisée et en sécurité.

Today, we celebrate the strength, care and leadership of mothers across Canada. We celebrate the ways they show up every day for their families, their communities and themselves even when the path forward is not easy. Through Mothers Forward, we are working alongside single mothers to expand access to support, stability and opportunity.
