Today welcomed more than 100 high school students attending the 2026 Summer Mentorship Program, a program for grade 11 students who self-identify as Indigenous or Black African, Black Caribbean, Black North American, multi-racial students who have and identify with their Black ancestry.
The students took part in a series of hands-on activities designed to introduce them to both dental education and patient care, including practicing cleaning and polishing on patient simulators, filling a prepared tooth and trying to place a rubber dam.
Special thanks to all of the volunteers for making this happen.
