Just one week away! πŸŽ’ Are you in?

Last year, our community showed up in a big way for the Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive and this year, we're aiming to collect 300+ backpacks for Brampton families through The Journey - Your Neighbourhood Centre.

That's 300+ kids starting the school year with the supplies they need to thrive.

Here's how you can help:

πŸ“… August 8th | 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

πŸ“ Location – Brampton Farmers’ Market (Main Street North in front of the Food District across from Garden Square)

Drop off new backpacks or school supplies and enjoy face painting while you're there. Every donation counts β€” big or small.

The future of emergency preparedness is local.

United Way Greater Toronto is working with the City of Toronto, the Canadian Red Cross, and community partners to build stronger neighbourhood networks ready to respond before, during, and after a crisis.

We're taking the lessons of the pandemic and building a model for climate preparedness where community-led solutions are at the heart of it.

On this National Indigenous Peoples Day, United Way Greater Toronto pauses to honour, celebrate and express deep gratitude for the Indigenous peoples, communities and cultures that have shaped this land for generations.

At United Way Greater Toronto, we are committed to walking alongside our Indigenous partners and the communities they serve, listening, learning and supporting the vital work they lead every day. Work that strengthens well-being, preserves culture and builds belonging for Indigenous peoples across our region.

Today is a celebration of resilience, of culture, of leadership and of the enduring connection between people and the land we all share.
To our Indigenous partners, community members and neighbours β€” thank you for your guidance, your generosity and your presence in our community.
