Call for Papers | Special Issue on Behavioural & Experimental Economics in Agricultural Economics

The European Review of Agricultural Economics invites submissions for a Special Issue exploring the future of experimental and behavioural economics in agri-food research.

Contributions are welcome on:
-Psychological drivers of farmer and consumer decision-making
-AI and experimental methods in agri-food systems
-External validity and scaling-up experimental insights

This Special Issue adopts an Open Science approach through Registered Reports — peer review and acceptance occur before data collection begins. Accepted authors must provide a replication package to ensure credibility and reproducibility.

The University of Bonn in Germany has the following position openings in its new Collaborative Research Center (CRC 1780) “Food System Diversification for Sustainable Nutrition” (FoodDiverse):



24 doctoral researchers and 8 postdoctoral researchers in the broader field of sustainable food systems.



The FoodDiverse CRC analyzes relationships between diversification at various food system levels (e.g., agriculture, markets, diets) and planetary health in Africa and Europe, in close cooperation with the University of Ghana. We are looking for strong candidates from various disciplines, including agricultural economics, social sciences, environmental sciences, nutrition, among others.
