Thank you for making ZooBash a wild celebration of the Toronto Zoo’s 52nd birthday 🎂💚

We’re so grateful to every guest, volunteer, partner and supporter who joined us this past weekend and helped give back in support of The Toronto Zoo. From meeting Donatello and Leonardo, to enjoying a special bird demonstration, purchasing paper turtles, and supporting partner-led initiatives with Schleich and Lost Craft, your generosity made the day extra meaningful.

The paper turtles purchased are now on display in the Zoo's Wildlife Health Centre Viewing Gallery as a shellebration of our amazing community, their commitment to wildlife conservation and the species we work so hard protect.

Thank you for celebrating, donating, and helping make the Zoo’s birthday one to remember ✨🐢

On , we’re honouring what it takes to protect wildlife in a rapidly changing world: expert collaboration, connection to global conservation initiatives, impactful discoveries, and people willing to act 🦧

As The Toronto Zoo continues to grow as a leading conservation science organization, we are proud to help bring that commitment to life by supporting opportunities for the Zoo’s dedicated Wildlife Care team to learn from and work alongside on-the-ground conservation organizations.

Thanks to a generous donor, one of those opportunities took Andy all the way to Sumatra. Read more about his journey and how your support helps the Zoo know better and do better for wildlife—at home and around the world: https://bit.ly/4qpquMd 🌎

Did you know some of these retro Toronto Zoo patches were once available in the Zoo's gift shops? 👀🛍️

For the final day of our silent auction, we're looking back at a little Zoo retail history. Bid on vintage patches and other retro memorabilia from years past, or check out some of what is available today with our Toronto Zoo retail play bundle.

You'll also find pieces that were once part of the Zoo itself, including an original 10th anniversary banner that once lined Meadowvale Road, authentic Camel Ride and Meet the Komodo Keeper signage, a viewing telescope once installed outside the gorilla habitat, and terracotta tiles that were previously displayed in the African Savanna. 🔭🦍

Whether you remember seeing some of these during past visits or just want a very cool piece of Zoo history in your home, this is your LAST chance to bid. The auction closes tonight at 7:00 p.m. Place your bids now at wildlifeconservancy.ca/auction

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...or, more accurately, Scarborough. ✨🐫🍕

The Force is strong in the camel habitat, where Carrie and the newest little member of the herd are showing off a game night bundle from local favourite Esper Cards & Games, featuring Star Wars: The Mandalorian Adventures and more.

And no game night is complete without pizza. The package also includes a gift card from Scarborough staple Mark's Pizza.

Our silent auction closes tomorrow, so place your bid before time runs out. May the bids be with you! Visit wildlifeconservancy.ca/auction to explore all auction items and experiences. ✨
