Some of our board members were privileged to attend this meet & greet for Canada's High Commissioner of Fiji Her Excellency Jennifer Lalonde yesterday in Surrey, BC hosted by the Fiji Canada Association.

"High Commissioner Lalonde holds a PhD in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University, and is a recipient of the CIDA President’s Award for Excellence.
In her discussions with the Acting President in Fiji, Her Excellency Lalonde reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to strengthen its partnership with Fiji through development cooperation, climate and natural disaster resilience and the promotion of shared democratic values.
The discussions highlighted warm and long-standing diplomatic relations between Fiji and Canada, and the mutual desire to expand collaboration in areas such as climate resilience, trade, education, and people-to-people ties."-excerpt from Fiji Government page.
