🌟 New Skaters, Try CanSkate This Fall!🌟

Register Early to Secure your skaters spot!!

Exciting news for future ice skaters (aspiring figure skaters, hockey players, ringette players and much more)! The Summerside Skating Club is thrilled to offer a Try CanSkate program for new skaters this Fall 2026

🗓 Dates: October 7th @5:30pm, 10th @8:30am, & 12th @5:30pm
💵 Cost: $72 for 3 ice times (this includes your skate canada fee for the 2026-2027 season)
🔒 Age Recommendation: Minimum 4 years old

What to Expect:
- First Two Sessions (October 7th & 10th): We recommend, but do not require, 1 parent or helper on the ice to assist skaters as they get accustomed to their new skills.
- Third Session (October 12th): Parents are not allowed on the ice, but rest assured, our experienced coaches and program assistants will be there to support the skaters.

Safety First: Both skaters and their helpers must wear a CSA-approved hockey type helmet.

After completing the Try CanSkate sessions, you'll have the opportunity to register your skater for the rest of the fall season or the full fall & winter sessions. Plus, you won’t need to pay the Skate Canada Fee again!
