THE ROAD TO NAIG 2028 BEGINS! πŸ†

The wait is over! The 2028 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) have been awarded to Norway House Cree Nation and the Southern Chiefs’ Organization, with the Games set to take place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from July 9–23, 2028!

Team Saskatchewan is excited for the return of NAIG and looks forward to bringing together Indigenous athletes from across Saskatchewan to continue our tradition of sporting excellence, celebrate our cultures, and represent our communities and families with pride.

NAIG is about more than competition. It’s an opportunity to celebrate who we are, strengthen connections, inspire the next generation, and showcase the incredible talent, strength, and resilience of Indigenous youth from across Turtle Island.

The journey to 2028 starts now. Saskatchewan, let’s get ready! πŸ’šπŸ’›
