Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc (TAYFFI) is a non-profit serving Black and ethnic minority communities in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc [TAYFFI] is a Saskatoon-based non-profit organization that provides support services for youth and families, especially members of vulnerable populations, in order that they become engaged and contributing members of their respective communities. We aim to bring about concrete and genuine change in full participation of visible minorities and raciali

zed groups in the socioeconomic fabric of Saskatoon community in core aspects of:

- poverty relieve and education advancement by providing employment-related counselling and training to the needy, newcomers, and the unemployed

- capacity building/development by providing computer fundamentals and literacy and leadership programs to youth

- education and promotion of positive race relations by providing workshops, presentations, and programs for the general public, on diversity, inclusion and racism

- addressing and preventing specific problems faced by families by providing parents, children and youth with leadership, empowerment and mentoring programs, and workshops on issues such as financial literacy, computer fundamentals and literacy, multiculturalism, communication, and parenting

Looking for a fun, hands‑on program where youth can learn real‑life skills and enjoy good food? Healthy Plates, Healthy Minds is the place to be!

Youth and young adults will learn how to cook healthy (and delicious!) traditional meals, build confidence in the kitchen, and talk about wellness, all in a safe, welcoming space. Parents are encouraged to support and spread the word!

Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation (TAYFFI) is excited to officially open registration for our 3rd Annual Blooming Buds Summer Youth Camp.

This exciting summer program is designed to provide youth with a safe, engaging, and enriching experience filled with learning, creativity, recreation, and cultural exploration.

Open to youth ages 9 to 14, the camp offers a wide variety of fun, educational, and culturally enriching activities including sports, dance, art, gardening, inter-heritage language learning, sewing and design, and much more. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where young people can build confidence, develop new skills, build friendships, and explore their creativity while remaining active throughout the summer.

Hosted in partnership with LetsStopAIDS, this workshop is part of an ongoing initiative focused on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, stigma reduction, and informed decision-making.

This heartwarming, family-friendly event is dedicated to celebrating and appreciating mothers and caregivers in our community. Join us for a relaxing and joyful afternoon featuring a picnic experience for moms, BBQ handled by husbands, partners, or significant others, and interactive activities such as creating DIY flower bouquets and customized perfumes for mom. It’s a beautiful opportunity to connect, unwind, and show love to the incredible women in our lives in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Through dialogue, reflection, and knowledge sharing, this session aims to move beyond awareness toward practical solutions that strengthen community safety, healing, and prevention.
