A Scarborough native, Bob's impact on the game spanned generations as a player, coach, executive, and leader. From his playing days with Port Credit, Brooklin, Detroit, and Kitchener, to guiding the Whitby Warriors to Minto Cup championships in 1999 and 2011, Bob dedicated his life to growing and strengthening the sport he loved.
Honoured as a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Lacrosse Halls of Fame, a recipient of the Mr. Lacrosse Award, and an OLA Lifetime Member, Bob's legacy reaches far beyond the accolades. He was a respected educator, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and someone who treasured family above all else.
Bob touched countless lives through lacrosse, education, and friendship. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the Hanna family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Thank you for everything, Bob. Your legacy will live on in our game and in our hearts.
