BOTTLE DRIVE is rescheduled to September 12th at the Thorold Centre 50+ @8 Carlton St South. Please drop off your bottles so that we can make a difference in the lives of Thorold kids by raising money. THANK YOU THOROLD.

Be careful in this heat and smoke.

The heat warning issued earlier this week continues and Environment Canada advises air quality is expected to deteriorate today as smoke from wildfires in northwestern Ontario moves into the area.

Stay cool in this hot weather.

⚠️Environment Canada has issued its first heat warning of the summer for St. Catharines. The long duration heat alert will begin Tuesday, June 30, and continue through Friday, July 3 and possibly into the weekend.
🥵 Daytime highs will range from 31 C to 34 C and potentially, as high as 37 C in some areas.
☀ The hottest days are expected to be Wednesday and Thursday, with maximum temperatures of 34 C to 37 C expected. Minimum 21 C to 25 C will bring little relief from the heat.
💧 Remember to stay hydrated and check on those at risk.
💦 Splash pad hours will be extended from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and outdoor pools with be open until 9 p.m. when a heat alert is in effect.
