Who Are We? that is then turned over to various organizations in need.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is a non – profit service club founded in 1898 in Washington State. The motto “People Helping People” was soon adopted by the membership that has since grown to near 1 million people and has included seven American Presidents. Internationally the Fraternal Order of Eagles is responsible for such things as the introduction of Mothers Day, providing the impetus for Soc

ial Security and ending job discrimination based on age. Donating time as well as money it worth while charities around the globe is a daily routine for Eagle members. With the help of thousands of volunteer hours from our members, money is raised through bingos, casinos, raffles, fund raisers etc. Our current major fund-raiser is to raise $5,000 annually for diabetes research. Since moving to St.Albert in 1984, Aerie 2102 has donated over $450,000 locally to non-profit organizations in the community for everything from uniforms for kids sports teams to wheel chair ramps for seniors. We support many community enhancement projects such as the “Partners in Parks” program in St.Albert. Helping Eagle members and their families is something we are also very concerned about and with this in mind The Fraternal Order Of Eagles put in place a life insurance policy to provide for the dependants of any Eagle member in the event of a work place fatality. Upon successful application to The Fraternal Order Of Eagles every member is automatically included under this tremendous coverage. St.Albert Aerie # 2102

Grand Worthy President David Wooster, with First lady Norma stopped in for a couple days and a Dinner Banquet at the St. Albert AERIE 2102 in Alberta Canada. This was part of his Canadian Leg "Stop the leak Tour". David gave a terrific inspirational speech to a full house of members in attendance who came to greet him. It was great to see all our past Worthy Presidents and Executive were there to visit Dave and Norma. Thank you David.
