Reliable power shouldn’t have to wait for permanent infrastructure.

FNPA member Collicutt Energy Services works with communities, utilities, developers and industrial partners to deliver temporary power and microgrid solutions that can be deployed quickly and scaled as requirements grow.

Their solutions include:

• Natural gas and diesel generation
• Modular power plants
• Battery energy storage
• Renewable generation integration
• Microgrid controls and electrical distribution
• Complete balance-of-plant design and integration
• Temporary, bridging and longer-term power solutions

For remote communities and projects, this can provide another tool for addressing capacity constraints, supporting new development and improving energy resiliency while longer-term infrastructure is being planned.

The generator is only one part of the solution. Collicutt brings the engineering, integration, equipment, commissioning and ongoing service required to turn individual pieces of equipment into a complete power system.

"We’re proud to work alongside organizations such as First Nations Power Authority to explore practical, scalable energy solutions for communities and projects across Canada."

On National Tree Day, we recognize the importance of healthy forests and green spaces to strong, climate-resilient communities.

Like clean energy, meaningful environmental action is most effective when communities help shape the solutions. Community-led sustainability initiatives reflect local priorities, strengthen environmental responsibility and create benefits that can last for generations.

A new report from Clean Prosperity explores how Saskatchewan can grow its nuclear power industry through greater collaboration between the federal and provincial governments.

"A Nuclear Grand Bargain: How to Grow an Affordable and Low-Emitting Electricity Grid in Saskatchewan" examines how nuclear development could help meet rising electricity demands, keep power affordable, reduce emissions and create long-term economic opportunities.

Importantly, the report recommends a joint Indigenous loan guarantee that would enable Saskatchewan First Nations to acquire equity in new nuclear development.

Indigenous participation must be built into Saskatchewan’s energy future from the beginning, with meaningful opportunities for ownership, partnership and leadership.

The federal and Saskatchewan governments should strike a grand bargain to finance the development of the province's growing nuclear power industry, says a new report from Clean Prosperity.
